Dear Potential Partner,

On behalf of the Rockford Park District, City of Rockford, and Winnebago County, we are working with the Undertaker and Rockford Park District Foundation to assess if there is enough community support to attempt a World’s Largest Egg Hunt in 2009.  As you may be aware the Undertaker accomplished this feat in 2005 with 292,686 eggs that over 1,500 children collected.  Since this event, the record has been broken with 510,000 eggs in Florida. 

Over the years, the Undertaker has helped thousands of families in our community.  In celebration of the 100th year anniversary of the Park District, the Undertaker has proposed as a community, we attempt the record with a 1 million egg hunt.  This event would also help raise funds for youth in needed neighborhoods.

The Undertaker has agreed to lead the efforts in securing community support to match the support committed by the City of Rockford, the Park District, and the Winnebago County.  Please indicate in writing the amount and type of support you are able to provide for this possible endeavor.
